High School Musical

Starting July sixth, I did theater camp for two weeks from 9am-5pm at Hub Performing Arts School. At the end of the two weeks, we put on the play High School Musical at the First Church of the Nazerene. We preformed the play once on Friday, and once on Saturday. I played a braniac. I had a ton of fun doing it, and hope to be able to do something like again soon!

The Kazoo and the Recorder

This moring I was playing the kazo0, and Emily took it away. So she makes me guess what she's saying into the kazoo. When I guessed it she tossed it on the ground, and Ryan got it before me. I wanted the kazoo back so Emily takes it away from Ryan, and stared crying, and chasing me for the kazoo. Emilyb gave him her recorder, so he'll stop crying. So Ryan stops chasing, but 's still crying. I traded him the kazoo for the recorder. Then Emily starts chasing me for the recorder. So I finallytrade Ryan for the kazoo, and we are all happy.

Iron Chef Birthday Bash

This year was the first year that I had my birthday party on my actual birthday. This was also the first year that Gemma wasn't living in Lubbock for my birthday. But it just so happened that she was going to be in town visiting the same week that I was having my party! This year for my party, I got to be creative, because I had an Iron Chef cook-off, and creativity was worth five points. There was a red team and a blue team. Mom even made red and blue aprons out of dish towels! She also made chef hats! We had to make a dessert, and a drink. There were two judges and we had an hour and ten minutes to make our creations, plus five minutes to look for recipies. The required ingredient was straberries. Iwas on the red team and we made a soup called chocolate strawberrie swirl(it got all five points for creativity. And our drink was strawberry blossom delight. It was a mix between a smoothie, a milkshake, and a float. the blue team made a chocolate cake in the shape of a heart covered in fruit and frosting called the Sweetheart. There drink was a punch called strawberry fizz. The blue team won, but we all had a great time!

Getting Smothered!

When we went to our grampa's farm we had to pack grain, and since the kids rode on the truck to the grain we had to walk back, so I got started! I missed a turn so I saw them across this empty pen so I cut across it ,and halfway through my foot sunk in to the poop so I used my hand to get out! You guessed it my hand got stuck I took my hand out, and I ended up trudging through the rest when I got out cow poop was up to my knees, and up to my elbows. I had to get sprayed, and after that I was freezing!

Who Let the Hot Dogs Out?

One day when we were in Utah, Ryan was watching Tyson, Justin, and I do a game we made up called trampoline theme dancing. We were trying to come up with a theme for the next dance, when Ryan said," Do 'Who Let the Hot Dogs Out." Tyson asked him what he meant and he replied, "Who let hot dogs out, who who who!" I don't know where he got it from, but since then, I have heard him singing it at least once a day. Ryan sure keeps us entertained.
